Opulent insects

Crickets and moths are classified as insects, right?

It's been quite rainy recently, and being someone who tends to bicycle everywhere, it doesn't make much sense for me to put makeup on before I enter the downpour of rain. Yesterday, the sun came out temporarily, so I quickly took the opportunity to put some eyeshadow on and take some pictures. After my last swatch session, I knew I needed to start using the opulent lustres.

All photos in natural light.

I used Moth, Lotus (opulent lustre), and Cricket.
All shadows applied over Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

Moth and Cricket are from the l'orchidee collection, and are lovely colors. I have a bit of a thing for colors that I don't know how to classify, and Moth falls under that description. It's a bit silvery, with a pinkish sheen. I can see myself reaching for this one quite frequently in the future.

The cashier at Ulta called my eyeshadow "crafty". I wasn't entirely sure what she meant by that.
What's the most interesting comment you've received in response to your makeup?

I'm so glad you commented on my blog because now I have found yours! I love it :D This look is GORGEOUS, I love the colors you chose. I love moth, it is such a complex neutral. I think crafty is a compliment! I never have had any really odd responses to my makeup, I did have people ask me what brand I was wearing on a day I did a look with some Stardust colors, though.
